Organic Sweet Marjoram, Majorana vulgare, Sustainable Canadian Farm Grown Herb

From the oregano genus, Sweet Marjoram is very delicate and tender. Its flavour is characterized by strong sweet-aromatic notes with a slight bitterness to it. That makes it an ideal herb to season strong or fatty meat (game or pork) but also hearty combinations of meat, vegetables and potatoes such as stews, smoked meat or legumes.
It is said to be used as a nerve tonic and heart tonic.

We are a small-scale producer of culinary and medicinal herbs. Herbs are grown on our farm in British Columbia without the use of sprays or fertilizers and hand harvested, dried and packaged on site. Our products are picked at their peak and dried in small batches to retain shape and flavour.
