Working at the Farm

Are you interested in spending some time at Little Piece of Paradise Farm? Because, we would love to have you!
Most of our volunteers/workers come through the WWOOFing program where helpers work for 5 days a week planting/weeding/doing animal care/helping around the farm in exchange for room/board. You can stay in a bedroom located in our workshop building, our retro RV or large canvas tent located beside the house. In every case you have your own bathroom/shower inside, and eat meals with our family (or course we are accommodating if you'd like to eat on your own for some meals).
We also offer the option of simply staying in accomodation on the farm in exchange for fewer hours of work per day.
During your free time you can use the bikes we have for helpers, float down the Slocan river bordering the property, visit the nearby cultural capital of the Kootenays in Nelson, go for a walk along the nearby Rail Trail, swim in the river, go on a hike in the surrounding area or just relax around the farm.
