Organic Fruitful Life Herbal Tea, Sustainable Farm Grown
We are a small-scale producer of culinary and medicinal herbs. All herbs are grown on our certified organic farm in British Columbia and are hand harvested, dried, and packaged on site in a dedicated approved facility. Our products are picked at their peak and dried in small batches to retain shape and flavour.
Our farm also uses regenerative farming practices, such as using animals (goats, sheep, pigs) to maintain and prepare new beds. This ensures that not only are we organic, but no heavy machinery ever touches the soil, and we maintain a healthy soil ecosystem.
Sweet and tasty, this infusion of dried apple, menthol mint and elder flower is easy to enjoy any time of the day and even chilled on a hot day.
It tastes like a herbal apple juice, without needing any sweetener. However, add a little apple juice and you, or your kids, will not stop drinking it.
You can request the dried apple to be replaced with dried strawberry, also grown according to organic principles on our farm.
Elder flower, for its sweet taste and cool and moist energetics. In herbal medicine, elder flower is said to help with cold and flu symptoms, bronchitis, and constipation (herbal actions are surface immune, relaxing diaphoretic and anti-catarrhal).
Menthol mint, also called Spearmint, is “a strongly aromatic, bitter, decongestant herb that relieves spasms, increases perspiration, improves digestion, and has antiseptic, mildly anesthetic effects.” (Bown, Deni. Encyclopedia of Herbs and Their Uses. RD Press, 1995)
